Hidden Commands & Special Animations

A testing lab for situational inputs—not a required beginner control lesson.

Understand when hidden commands can trigger, how strong the evidence is, and how to test one input without confusing it with normal controls.

None of these inputs is required to bat, pitch, field, run the bases, or manage a game. Use this page after the standard controls feel comfortable.

PRO SPIRIT 2026 calls this system Decoy Sign. Older community guides often called it Block Sign.

A Reliable Test

  • Use an exhibition game and make the required event easy to reproduce.
  • Avoid overlapping runner, throw, pause, or replay inputs.
  • Try immediately, then slightly earlier or later.
  • Keep player, stadium, controller layout, and situation stable.
  • Save a screenshot or clip and mark the result confirmed, failed, or still uncertain.

Legacy Research Credit

The legacy research and translations are credited to Vernon and Muka of the Spirits Translation Team. ThaGreatMuta joined the team in 2019 and built its Pro Yakyū Spirits 2019 translation website. After Vernon and Muka retired, ThaGreatMuta began the independent ProSpi Translation project in 2024; that work later developed into ProSpi Insider. This archive preserves the earlier findings while separating historical behavior from current confirmation.

Use This Page as a Lab

  • Core controls come first.
  • Situation and timing are part of every hidden input.
  • Do not present community or legacy reports as confirmed 2026 mechanics.
  • Record repeatable evidence before changing an item’s status.
