What Spirits Mode Does
Spirits is the created-player mode. You choose a player type, earn development resources through Card Challenge, spend those resources on ratings and abilities, and save the finished player for use elsewhere.
The important decision is not simply how many points you earn. A strong run converts its points into a coherent role: a contact hitter, power bat, defender, starter, reliever, or another clearly defined build.
The Card Challenge Loop
- Choose player type, position, handedness, and the role you want the finished player to perform.
- Draw and hold cards, form useful hands, collect bonuses, and build the main resource pool.
- Use the later phase to pursue abilities and finish the player’s identity.
