Manage the Player Pipeline

  • Identify positions, pitching roles, leadership, and depth that will leave.
  • Evaluate candidates against the vacancy rather than collecting ratings without a route.
  • Check the location, timing, and appearance rules independently from Scout Evaluation.
  • Recruit players who can realistically enter the team’s development path.
  • Check selection order, pitcher role, and growth type before registering a drafted player.

Recruit Against the Roster You Are About to Lose

Scouting belongs to the same cycle as development and graduation. Begin with the seniors and key roles that will disappear, then look for incoming players who can enter those jobs over time. Judge candidates and availability from the current Hakkyū interface rather than importing rules from a different high-school baseball mode.

Scout Evaluation Controls Selection Order

KONAMI’s official 2024–2025 FAQ identifies game performance and Scout Evaluation items as two ways to raise the value. Players are then selected in descending Scout Evaluation order regardless of defensive position. Exact ties are resolved randomly.

Admiration Members Follow the Professional Player’s High School

Some original incoming players admire a professional player, closely copy that player’s form, and enter with abilities approaching the professional profile. For your own incoming class, an Admiration Member may appear anywhere but is more likely in the professional player’s high-school prefecture. For opposing schools and scouting, the member appears in that prefecture. When one appears, the admired professional is added to the Pro Baseball Player Encyclopedia.

Graduation and Original-Player Registration Are Separate Decisions

Graduation ends the school career. A drafted player can then continue into original-player registration, where the export settings describe the registered player rather than the temporary role used inside Hakkyū.

Verify the Final 2026 Labels Before Confirming

The functions of the post-graduation points and growth choices are documented, but the final official English name of the points and exact 2026 growth labels still require interface confirmation. Read the current registration screen and review the assigned role and growth type before completing export.

The Repeatable Plan

  • Recruit against future vacancies.
  • Keep evaluation, selection order, and location availability as separate questions.
  • Treat graduation registration as a final configuration step for the exported original player.
